THE country’s manufacturing production, both in volume and value, fell at a faster pace last March, preliminary data released by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) showed on Friday.
Results of the statistics agency’s latest Monthly Integrated Survey of Selected Industries (Missi) showed the country’s Volume of Production Index (VoPI) shrank by 73.4 percent in the third month of 2021, deeper than the 43.3 percent and 20.4 percent slips a month and a year ago, respectively.
