Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) commissioner Willie Marcial announced in a virtual press conference on Friday the league has been allowed to start team scrimmages on May 18.
This was after the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) approved the league’s request for teams to hold 5-on-5 drills and practices in areas under general community quarantine (GCQ) and modified general community quarantine (MGCQ).
