THE Philippines logged its lowest number of new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on Tuesday at 4,734 while recoveries continued to rise, with the latest at 7,837, according to the Department of Health (DoH).
The last time the country reached the 4,000-level was on March 17 when it registered 4,383 new cases, a day before the country experienced a spike.
