Over 80 percent of the 2021 national budget has been released to government agencies, according to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
DBM data showed on Wednesday that the allotment release of P3.61 trillion from January to April was 80.2 percent of the P4.50-trillion programmed budget of the government. The latest amount is lower than the P3.69 trillion released in the first four months of 2020.
