OVER 95,000 consolidated franchises of public utility vehicles (PUVs) in the country are now under the government's transport modernization program, the Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) said in a statement on Wednesday.

According to the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program-National Project Management Office (PUVMP-NPMO), there are 95,243 consolidated franchises.
