THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Wednesday arrested two claimants of three packages that contained P15.7 million worth of the “party drug” known as Ecstasy or Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) in Quezon City.
PDEA spokesman Derrick Carreon identified the drug suspects as Rowena Canapit, 40, a resident of Teresa, Rizal and Michael De Guzman, 36, of Napico, Pasig City. They were arrested during a controlled delivery operation for the packages, which contained a total of 9, 243 pieces of Ecstacy tablets.
