Listed grocery operator Puregold Price Club Inc. on Wednesday reported a 14.6-percent higher net income of P2.02 billion in the first quarter, up from P1.76 billion in the same period last year.

In a disclosure to the exchange, Puregold said its consolidated net sales dipped by 7.9 percent to P37.73 billion in January to March.
