Metro Manila mayors ready to recommend next quarantine status to IATF

THE Metro Manila Council (MMC) will present its recommendation on the next quarantine status in the National Capital Region (NCR) to the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) in its meeting this Thursday, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman Benhur Abalos said in a statement.

The MMC, the policy-making body of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), met Wednesday night with representatives from the Department of Health (DoH) and the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and have already come up with its recommendation to the next quarantine status, which will be announced on May 15.
