Denmark’s entry to the recently-concluded 93rd Oscars Awards in Hollywood titled “Druk” (“Another Round”) by director Thomas Vinterberg bagged the most-coveted Best International Film Feature. It had the famous Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen in the lead. (Throwback: Mikkelsen was the fiercest villain in “Casino Royale” of the James Bond franchise spy film, remember?)
Denmark by the way is a consistent top placer among the three world’s happiest countries according to the World Happiness Report. Vinterberg’s win makes this Scandinavian country more than happy these days in a manner of speaking.
