THE Philippines’ Rabiya Mateo made the first cut in the 69th Miss Universe Monday morning (Manila time) when she joined the top 21 list.

Mateo, one of the early frontrunners, was the 15th called at the pageant held at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino - Hollywood, Florida.

In her video introduction, Mateo shared her advocacy for education.
