THE Philippines logged 4,700 new active cases and 6,986 recoveries on Wednesday, the Department of Health (DoH) said.
The day's number of infections adds to a total of 49,951, its lowest since March 14, 2021 when the country had 48,154.This comes as the positivity rate remained at 13.8 percent, or 4,254 of the 30,829 samples were found positive by Covid laboratories that sent their data to the DoH. Seven others failed to provide information.
