Iloilo City and three provinces were placed under the second strictest lockdown because of the rising Covid-19 transmission rate in these areas.
The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases signed a resolution dated May 22 placing Iloilo City in modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) from May 23 until May 31.
