The Philippines is one of just four countries in the world that demonstrated acceptable accountability in its early coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) fiscal policy responses, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) announced on Wednesday.

The latest data, the DBM said, were based on a rapid assessment survey done by the Washington-based International Budget Partnership (IBP) from March to September last year.
