Two-time Most Valuable Player James Yap is the only remaining survivor in the PBA's Class of 2004 following the announcement of Marc Pingris to retire from playing after 16 years of seeing action in Asia's pioneering professional basketball league.
A future Hall of Famer and one of those listed in the 40 Greatest Players of the PBA, Yap will be entering the final season of his contract with the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.
