Three government agencies on Thursday inked a memorandum of agreement (MoA) to intensify the country's fight against illegal fuel smuggling and uphold proper tax assessments for such products.
The accord signed by the Bureau of Customs (BoC), the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and the Department of Energy (DoE) shall facilitate and ensure the proper assessment of taxes through regular exchange of information among these agencies.
