Malabon soon to have heritage zone

House Bill 08831, an act establishing a heritage zone in Malabon City, was unanimously passed by the House of Representatives on second reading.

"I am so gratified by the support of my colleagues including those who co-sponsored [the bill] and the entire House members for the passage of this bill that would soon declare the city of Malabon as a Cultural Heritage Zone," said Malabon Rep. Jaye Lacson-Noel, author of the bill.
