SIGNAL No. 2 is up in parts of the country as tropical storm "Dante" (international name: Choi-wan) maintained its strength, heading to Eastern Samar or Leyte this Tuesday, the state-run weather agency said.
In its 11 a.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Signal No. 2 was raised over Masbate, including Ticao and Burias Island, Albay and Sorsogon in Luzon; Eastern Samar, Samar, Northern Samar, Biliran, Leyte, and Southern Leyte in the Visayas; Dinagat Islands, Siargao and Bucas Grande Islands in Mindanao.
