THE Philippines can fully reopen its economy once at least half of its 110 million population have been vaccinated against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said on Wednesday.

Citing experiences of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Israel, Galvez said the Covid-19 cases in these countries significantly decreased when 30 percent of the population received the vaccine.
