THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) has approved the proposal of the Department of Education (DepEd) to give higher compensation to teaching and non-teaching personnel who will serve for the 2022 national and local elections.
Those who will serve as Election Board (EB) Chairman will receive ₱9,000, EB members will receive ₱8,000, and DepEd Supervisor Officials (DESO) will receive ₱7,000. Meanwhile, support staff will receive ₱5,000.
