DAVAO CITY: Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio has requested the regional Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to place the city under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) from June 5 to June 30 amid the surge in Covid-19 cases.
The city government reported 338 new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday.
