Only 9 percent of the country's vaccinees have missed their second dose of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) shots, vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said, refuting allegations that over one million Filipinos missed their second jabs.

Galvez, who is also head of the National Task Force Against Covid-19 (NTF), said records from the National Vaccination Operation Center (NVOC) showed that only 9 percent, or roughly 113,000, missed their second doses, "clearly and significantly lower than the one million being cited by a certain health expert."
