Vaccination record system needed for arriving travelers

The absence of a credible system that will verify an inbound traveler's vaccination record is hampering the implementation of a more relaxed quarantine protocol especially for Filipinos returning from abroad, a senior health official said on Saturday.

The statement comes after the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) issued a resolution on Friday setting up new parameters for fully-vaccinated Filipinos traveling abroad on official business.
