In a bid to reduce Covid-19 transmission associated to noncompliance with health protocols, the local government of Muntinlupa has augmented operations to apprehend violators of face mask and face shield rules.
Members of the Muntinlupa City Police Station recorded 165 individuals who were not wearing or were improperly wearing face masks and face shields in eight barangay (villages) during the conduct of Oplan Sita from May 30 to May 31. Of the total number of violators, 43 individuals were fined while 122 received a first warning.
