DAVAO CITY is expected to surpass Quezon City in the number of new cases per day as Mindanao continues to experience increases in the number of Covid-19 cases, according to OCTA Research.
In its June 7 report, Davao City has logged an average of 206 new cases per day from May 31 to June 6, higher than the 134 new cases reported in the previous reporting week, or equivalent to a 54 percent growth rate.
