The Octa Research group said on Wednesday that Davao City and Western Visayas are considered "epicenters" of the coronavirus in addition to the NCR Plus.
"We would say na [that] the NCR (National Capital Region) is still averaging almost 1,000 cases per day. NCR Plus remains the epicenter, but we could say that there is a corresponding increase in Mindanao areas. From our perspective, we could say that Davao City is one of the epicenters along with Western Visayas," OCTA Senior Research fellow Dr. Guido David said during the Laging Handa briefing.
