Doctors over the weekend cautioned the government against loosening quarantine protocols in Metro Manila and nearby areas as hospitals continue to absorb the surge in coronavirus disease patients.
In an interview with The Manila Times, Dr. Maria Encarnita Limpin, president of the Philippine College of Physicians, said it was still too premature for NCR Plus to relax its restrictions because it was again seeing intensive care units (ICU) in some hospitals getting full.
