OCTA Research on Monday warned that Dumaguete City is seeing a sharp surge in cases and has become the area of most serious concern outside the so-called NCR (National Capital Region) Plus bubble.
In its June 14 update, the city registered 95 new cases during the week of June 7 to 13, a 129-percent increase from the 42 cases reported in the previous week. Its average daily attack rate (ADAR) increased to 69.85 cases per 100,000 population.
