Complications on the impending legal proceedings for bulk carrier MV Angelic Power may further delay the repatriation of 13 Filipino seafarers who were stranded onboard the ship for the past 17 months in China.

Magsaysay Maritime Corporation, the employer of the said seafarers, stated that the Chinese court "might require the crew to participate and be heard in these proceedings before they can be sent home."
