THE more relaxed quarantine restrictions in the capital region and the overnight performance of US markets enabled the main index to advance closer to the 7,000 territory on Tuesday.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index improved by 0.86 percent, or 59.24 points to close at another day high of 6,976.73, while the wider All Shares rose by 0.75 percent, or 31.52 points to finish at 4,222.88.
