THE Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) has reiterated its call for transparency from the government on allegations that thousands were killed in its "war against drugs," which is now the subject of an ongoing investigation by the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Manila Auxiliary Bishop Broderick Pabillo on Wednesday made the appeal in response to Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque's statement that the President would not cooperate on the ICC investigation, which Malacanang described as "politically motivated."
