It's been a week since "Trese" dropped on Netflix and social media continues to discuss both the series and comic book. The digital sphere has exploded with more fan art, more fan fiction (and "shipping"), more speculation, more memes and more comments and reviews - and criticisms, of course. No one arrives anywhere without criticism.

It's without a doubt, though, that the comic and the series have a great set of characters besides the lead, Alexandra Trese. They are her "enforcers": the Kambal - who are currently the subject of really sexy fan art; the "Nuno" who has gone from the forest to the manhole, spilling secrets in exchange for Choc-nut; the super goth emissary of the goddess Ibu; Maliksi the tikbalang; and Hank Sparrow, the bartender and mysterious associate of the Trese family for generations.
