METRO Clark Waste Management (MCWM) reaffirms its commitment to environmental sustainability and quality management as it successfully renews three ISO certifications in 2021. MCWM bags certifications on Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015), Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001:2015), and Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) for the sixth year in a row since it has secured the global standard credential in 2015.
Securing an ISO certification is an arduous process, something MCWM accomplished during a pandemic, and while in the middle of a major expansion of its facilities, such as a new leachate treatment facility, an expanded final disposal area, and all the supporting infrastructure.
