THE Philippines logged 6,833 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on Friday, raising the total number of infections to 1.346 million, the Department of Health (DoH) said.
The new cases were from the 43,635 tests that were conducted by all but five DoH-accredited Covid laboratories in which 12.6 percent or 5,498 yielded positive results.
