Education Secretary Leonor Briones on Thursday was elected as vice president of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (Seameo) for 2021-2022, during the 51st Seameo Council Conference (Seamec).
Briones was also voted as vice-chairperson of the Seamec and shall assume the presidency in the next council meeting in 2023.
