A recent webinar, hosted by the Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations of the Philippines (Cocopea), showed some of the most serious effects of the pandemic on schools. From how it went, one takeaway was that not all was well in the education sector, especially in terms of how the problems of today are being met.

It was the eighth national congress of the Cocopea, which had the theme "Moving the Quality Education Agenda: The Private Sector Perspective." The resource speakers were clear in acknowledging the existence of efforts to address the challenges in the sector. But these were far from being perfect.
