A few weeks ago, I wrote an article, titled "The UAP leadership working through the challenges of the pandemic." This was actually on the leadership of architect Renato Heray as the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) national president (NP) who passed away recently and unable to finish his term this fiscal year 2020 to 2021. I talked about his corporate theme of "Noble Leadership, Good Governance and Members First." It was indeed a tribute to his presidency and his dedication to the organization.

I wrote then about NP Rene and what he had left behind. "His legacy was that in spite of the pandemic, he was able to touch the lives of the members. He was accommodating, friendly and always smiling. He served the organization well and was fondly associated with the Bayanihan Arkitektura committee and the corporate social responsibility projects of the UAP. He will be well-remembered for that."
