SEN. Ana Theresia "Risa" Hontiveros on Monday called on the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) to revoke its directive imposing a 25 percent tax hike on private schools.
The senator described the move as "anti-students," warning it may only displace more students when private schools are forced to close.
