SIMONE Giertz (born 1990) is a Swedish inventor, robotics enthusiast, TV host and a professional YouTuber. She's also known for her crazy ideas. In a TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) 2018 conference, Giertz showcased some of her creations described as "often fall(ing) short of practical usefulness" and done only "for comic effect," reports Amber Jamieson in The Guardian (2016), who calls Giertz as "the queen of useless robots."

Check her inventions, including the use of an alarm clock that slaps the user, a toothbrush helmet, a drone hair-cutter, and a popcorn feeding device. Before judging Giertz, you must know she's not alone. She's a latecomer in the field. Before here were inventors who created many senseless inventions and yet made millions of dollars.
