As the rainy season kicks in, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) rolled out its flood control program that includes declogging and dredging major waterways.

MMDA Chairman Benjamin "Benhur" Abalos Jr. presented on Wednesday Phase 1 of the agency's Flood Management Project at a webinar series entitled "Labs: Rainy Season Readiness", the fourth by the Liveable Cities Challenge (LCC) in partnership with the League of Cities of the Philippines and Globe Telecom.
