Gilas Pilipinas bowed out of contention after losing to Dominican Republic, 94-67, early Friday morning (Manila time) in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Belgrade, Serbia.
Dominican Republic was led by Victor Liz who finished with a game-high 23 points behind a solid 5-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc. Gelviz Solano added 21 points, five assists and three steals.
