THE Department of Health (DoH) urged local government units (LGUs) to implement the new ruling on interzonal travel for fully vaccinated individuals that the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) issued on Sunday.

Under the ruling, fully vaccinated individuals may be allowed to travel between general community quarantine (GCQ) and modified GCQ areas without the need for a reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test. All they have to do is present a valid vaccination card or a certificate of quarantine completion from the Bureau of Quarantine.
