HOME loans released by the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) surged to P44.34 billion in the first half of the year, more than doubling the P20.8 billion it recorded in the same period last year.
In a statement on Friday, the state-run firm noted the amount is also higher than the P37.07 billion it posted in the pre-pandemic period of January to June in 2019.
