Invisible and unarticulated ideologies: Divisive issues and voter preference

IT is always said that Filipino voters seem not to vote according to ideologies, and politicians do not run with well-defined ideologies. However, ideologies are not necessarily measured in terms of what one articulates and openly claims but are manifested in values and belief systems, and these are further reflected in the positions taken on divisive issues, where the responses would reflect what are the expected ideological leanings.
