The colorful and symbolic Pride-Thru is here to stay as it continues to attract supporters beyond June’s monthlong celebration.
The colorful and symbolic Pride-Thru is here to stay as it continues to attract supporters beyond June’s monthlong celebration.

Following such buoyant reaction for lining its drive-thru with colorful posters to celebrate Pride Month in June, KFC's Bonifacio Triangle Branch has decided to keep the now popular destination for LGBTQIA+ members and allies as is and renamed it "KFC Pride-Thru."

With the community unable to mount its annual Metro Manila Pride March due to the pandemic, KFC, as a corporate sponsor of the non-profit endeavor, organized its own Pride March in BGC in June, inviting people to support the call for equal rights from inside their cars. As a treat, every car that joined the innovative "march" was given a special-edition rainbow Pride Float as part of the festivities.
