THE Bureau of Customs (BoC) has prevented attempts to smuggle more than P33 million worth of the Philippine peso, foreign currencies and other monetary instruments during the past several months.
Elements of the Intelligence Group-Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (IG-CIIS) have intercepted and seized P33,128,870 worth of local and foreign currencies from 2020 to July 14, 2021.
