The Department of Health has confirmed a third death from the highly infectious Delta variant of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said that the third victim is a 78-year-old female from Baybay town in Antique who died on May 30.
