Tugon Kabuhayan on Monday backed the government's call to end "harmful subsidies" even if fishing occurs in disputed areas.
In a virtual briefing, the advocacy group stressed that failure to put an end to fisheries subsidies will impact the Philippines the most, adding such subsidies cause illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
