CERTIFIED Public Accountants (CPAs) in the Philippines joined by Filipino CPAs from abroad successfully celebrated virtually the 2021 Accountancy Week last July 11 to 17, 2021 led by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Picpa) with the Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy (PRC-BOA) together with the four sectoral organizations, the National Association of CPAs in Education (Nacpae), the Association of CPAs in Commerce & Industry (Acpaci), the Government Association of CPAs (Gacpa) and the Association of CPAs in Public Practice (Acpapp), with the theme "Transform: Embracing Possibilities. Realizing Potentials."

Congratulations and highest accolades are in order for the esteemed leaders and officers of the above organizations that despite the physical limitations and constraints brought about by the ongoing pandemic and in compliance with government restrictions and regulations, a highly successful nationwide weeklong Accountancy Week Celebration (AWC) was virtually held and the objectives of the event for the professional advancement and transformative development of CPAs were victoriously achieved. To date, this has been the AWC with the highest number of Picpa past presidents virtually present and AWC with the highest number of CPA attendees in virtual attendance. Indeed, CPAs have transformed - embraced what was possible and triumphantly realized the potentials presented by the present situation.
