THE Philippines reported 12 more cases of the Delta variant of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in the country on Thursday, most of them local infections, according to the Department of Health (DoH).
The Delta variant is said to be the most infectious because it is 40 to 90 percent more transmissible and could decrease the efficacy of certain vaccines.
