Bong Go gives aid to fire-hit residents

SEN. Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go on Tuesday visited Barangay Matina Aplaya in Davao City to personally comfort and provide aid to the families after a devastating fire razed their homes, killing one resident, and destroying a local school over the weekend.

The senator's office, together with concerned government agencies, jointly conducted relief efforts at three separate evacuation centers, specifically in the Alpha Executive Homes, Shanghai and barangay (village) covered courts where the victims are temporarily taking shelter.
